Pretty much everyone here I've seen has been happy with the sound but does not like repititive choruses. I fail to see how people are unjustified for holding these opinions as I feel the word "repititive" perfectly describes the choruses and I have no doubt this is what they were going for when they wrote the songs. It comes down to opinion and personal preferences. I don't think anyone wants them to rehash Bones or EOE but many of us feel left down by the lack of variety in the lyrics that we've come to know and love. With that being said, these are 3 singles, and we've seen info from interviews that suggests other songs will go deeper lyrically and maintain variety.

Furthermore I haven't seen anything too harsh on this subreddit when it comes to criticism, I personally have enjoyed these 3 songs and have binged them but I can totally see where everyone else is coming from.
