First of all, Trump has multiple lawsuits against him revolving around sexual assault. Saying they "didn't ruin his life" isn't accurate at all unless they all get dropped. Unfortunately, most women waited until after he'd already begun his presidential campaign to come forward which makes things a lot harder.

As for your second paragraph, if you're going to try to refute a point I make, please provide some data. I'm by no means an expert on the topic so show me a case or two where a false accusation was punished with more than a small fine.

Thirdly, I'm not talking about he-said-she-said cases because those aren't false accusations, I'm talking about ones where the woman straight up admits she lied. Rapes where there's not enough evidence is not a false accusation, it's our justice system doing its job and not putting a possibly innocent man behind bars. Just because he's not guilty doesn't mean he's innocent.

Fourthly, please learn context because I was very obviously talking about it making the news. Rape and murder happen every day, open up literally any non-local newspaper and take a look at how many rapes and murders make the news. If it's not high profile, it's not in there and is therefore boring from a news point of view. A better term might be desensitised. In other words, I said the exact same thing this comment.

And finally, that's a completely different issue. Finding the rapist might be a problem but most rapes are done by somebody known to the victim which would mean they're off to jail. Assuming they report it that is. And no, I don't mean 6 months, I mean possibly life in jail. Just because your laws suck doesn't mean that's the case everywhere.
