Mike kind of let it out of the bag when he was balling out Greg for saying the show would be back on the Wednesday, after they had a mini strike for Chris. In that conversation, Mike insinuated that Cote sent the wedding article out early, without telling Mike or Dan and seemed really sincere about it. Greg's actions during the strike took some leverage from the show, when they had decided to get out of the contract, so the whole thing seemed very legit with Mike blowing up. Dan tried to hint a couple of weeks ago that nobody was really sure, but Mike's anger vent was a different version than we heard before, and seems the most plausible. Greg did it a few days early to make sure he wouldn't lose the scoop. before Dan had even informed some people. And the legend of Scoops Cote was born.
