Managed to sub 30 all due to good RNG on the recent banners.
FF2: The most recent ticket pull granted me Minwu AASB. Combined with Maria AASB, Emperor AASB and Orran SASB/AASB, sub-30 arrived.
FF3: The most recent 40-pull on the event granted me Aria's AASB. Combined with OK AASB/USB3, Arc's AASB/USB1/RB and CoD RB/HA, sub-30 arrived with lots of pain.
FF4: Edge AASB + Rydia AASB1 + Tellah AASB. Cleared upon release.
FF5: This was painful without Lenna's Glint+/AASB/SASB/bUSB. Had to find a setup (requires a fair bit of RNG) that allowed me to skip dispel (no room for it). But this setup also paved way for my FF13 clear.
FF7: The fest granted me Red's AASB/SASB and Orran's SASB. Got the sub-30 together with Cloud and Seph despite the lack of Zack's CSB (the ATK up and Crit DMG up are important elements to deal with a bulkier than usual boss). Cleared upon releae (well sort of)
FF8: Sqaull AASB1/2 + Laguna AASB + Raijin's AASB. Had to figure out how to speed up Squall without any Kiros. Ended up Squall's bUSB was my answer. But figuring how to obtain 6 bars by abt 15`16s was no simple feat. Cleared upon release.
FF9: Got luck with the Carida banner then which netted me Eiko's AASB2 and Vivi AASB2. Also got inspired by a run I saw on youtube on how to use Tyro for that fight given having to deal with 3 x DBFB is a pain. Kuja AASB rounded up the DPS.
FF10: 2 x 50 pulls netted me Paine SASB (among other stuff). This was a pretty standard Tidus (AASB1) + Rikku (AASB+CSB) + Paine (SASB+USB3) + Yuna + Tyro setup. Cleared upon release.
FF11: 1 x 50 pull netted me Lise AASB and a luck 100 gem got me Ayame''s SASB. Combined with Ayame AASB and Lion AASB got me the sub-30 kill. Lion with Azure Unending is a thing. Cleared upon release.
FF13: Got inspired by my FF5 run which involves using front row party pHQC. Clered with Lightning AASB/USB3 + Noel AASB+USB (chase). Snow with his AOSB and latest USB and Vanille with Glint+ and AASB are important factors. The sad thing is I spent 14 tickets only to get Vanille's Glint+ (14-pull) and AASB (13-pull). Everything else before that was insignificant.
FF14: Alphi SASB/AASB with Yda AASB/Unique provided the sub-30. Not to forget Papy with his USB1/AOSB. Cleared upon release.
FF15: Noctis AASB, Luna SASB/AASB and Gladiolus AASB. Cleared upon release. Hardest part was figuring how to use Luna. I finally understand why all the youtube videos I saw did not involve her in the first place. Had to skip Iris despite having her Glint+ and lastest USB. Cleared upon release.
FFT: This was painful trying to make do with 2 BDL relics and no good chase USBs to combo with. Eventually found a setup that I can work with.
Type-0: A lucky pull got me Rem AASB. Combo that with her USB 1 and Ace with AASB/USB2 got me the sub-30.
FF1 is not do-able with just 1 BDL relic. FF12 looks shaky with only a stacked Ashe and Rek's AASB. Might require some good RNG on her SASB2 to sub-30 it.
Personally I don't think LBOs and AOSBs are underrated for sub-30 runs - lots of sub-30 survey uses them. It's just that one wouldn't go out of the way to chase them just for this one purpose.
I mean you could do a post to hype it like what you did for Cait AASB but no one in the right frame of mind would argue better to chase that AOSB than AASB to help with a sub-30.
