My only rebuttal is that I have two friends and a relative who work in the police, but a different country. You make a lot of very valid points, let me balance my rant a bit by saying that my expectations are based on what my experience with the police has been ‘at home’, where they always welcomed help, or people caring about those kinds of things.

I’ve never received a speeding ticket, but I am absolutely fine if they give me one. All parking tickets are also 100% correct (except the 3 I fought back on and got dismissed), I don’t hate the police, I hate the situation because it has gotten comical to a degree I cant comprehend, and the attitude the ones I deal with at the station by my place are having.
