1) I can’t remember your comment bc you deleted it! I’m sorry I misinterpreted what you said. Agreed that not every poem is canon but many fall under the tradition of what is considered canon that are posted here.

2) I can promise you no contemporary poet is concerned about one of their poems being shared on this subreddit with regard to copyright law. Contemporary poets would be ecstatic to have their poetry reach such a wide audience of poetry lovers.

3) That’s kind of the point isn’t it? You’re not interested in “a lot” of modern poetry. You said the quiet part loud. However, as someone who reads and writes poetry, I love and appreciate poems from the 17th century to the 21st century. Maybe there are lots of ppl who follow this subreddit who also love contemporary poetry :) as someone who appears to love poetry, maybe expand what you choose to read!
