Opinions on Lake City neighborhood of Seattle?

I love arguing with you.

So it's less expensive than rent in one of the ten most expensive cities in the U.S. Sounds great!

Yea, the guy has a job offer in the area, so he needs somewhere to move. Hey, I know, what about somewhere nearby that is as cheap as possible, that might be nice?

Amazon pays its warehouse workers crap, serves cheap imported crap, and any technology manufacturer uses sweatshops and produces its goods in non-ethical ways. Your statement just rings of pretentious "I've never left my affluent neighborhood, so any place that hosts fast food must be where the filthy peasants live." I take it you only shop at Whole Foods, then?

Amazon serves everything. Fast food only serves crap. Yea I eat organic, am a vegetarian. Sorry for being mindful! I'll make sure to go kill a cow.

So are you protesting the ugly, poorly designed condos filling up the "wealthy" parts of town? Or do you only discriminate against Lake City?

I mentioned these places because OP is likely looking to rent one. And actually, they're much uglier than new developments around seattle. They're literally SQUARE buildings. No shape. I imagine they'll need to be torn down in 20 years because of build quality issues.

So your sheltered wealthy neighborhood upbringing made you this scared and offended of litter? Did you grow up in a gated community?

Yea, its nice to not be surrounded by trash. And cigarettes cause cancer. Cigarette butts = cigarette smokers. Be ready to breathe some of that fresh fresh tobacco filled air in lake city as the hobo pushing a shopping cart blows it in your face on your morning run.

Interactions in Lake City are friendlier and more down to Earth. Less pretentious, more able to navigate basic human interactions with various backgrounds and types of people than sheltered, pretentious tech workers.

Key word basic. I was sheltered, yes. But I've worked on boats in Alaska, and actually live in a small town now. I have friends that are poor. Just because I have a skill that makes me rich doesn't make me an asshole for using it. Maybe if I get some tattoos, start smoking and blow my money at the strip club you'll like me better, and then we can have some 'basic' interactions.
