Overstatement of the Culling Games quality

I've spent 30 years or so reading manga as a hobby and this was by far the only manga that people would create buzz words or phrases to justify garbage story telling. My favorite was the "Weekly Reader" bullshit which did not start until the CG arc was introduced. Not a soul had anything negative to say outside of a personal opinion about the story prior -- myself included. The pacing of the manga from its inception up until the very end of the Shibuya arc was absolutely enjoyable. I disliked a lot of the shallow characters and tropes presented but holistically, it managed to do what many stories fall short of -- which is to not be boring while remaining easy to digest.

It was very cool, especially in this subreddit, when people would discover hidden nuances, meanings, and attach and predict certain patterns, however it was never necessary to extract enjoyment from the story nor did it have to represent anything large. Any person could go their entire life never seeing those small things and still finding an immense enjoyment of the story prior to the CG arc.

Even if the plot twists weren't immensely shocking, the focus on the events and the sheer planning of it all was well done and most importantly -- It was fun.

It really sucks to see so many people focus on intellectually and emotionally invalidating you by not engaging your post in a more candid fashion. Meandering is a beautiful word for the situation and I implore anyone who doesn't quite understand the meaning of the word to really google it.

From a literary stand-point, the CG completely and utterly falls short. It's like watching Game of Thrones if GRR Martin put a pen in a chimpanzees asshole and let it shit a plot. Fueled by the fact that he's intending to speed run the story to close within this year, all it forces me to wonder is if Gege got bored writing the story or perhaps tried to adjust his story based on certain demands or ideas provided to him by his publishers and editors.
