Parakeet 2 Pricing - Launch Later Tonight

But it won't. We know it won't come in 2016 and maybe not early 2017. You will pay full price for Parakeet when we get news of GMS 2.

If I'm using this enough to pay for it into 2017, I'm getting my money's worth. That's my biggest thing, this does something that I've wanted since I first started using Gamemaker. I've tried it, and I feel like a coder using a coding program. With GMS I feel like I'm jumping through hoops trying to be a coder in a drag&drop program, because I AM. This is worth the price to me, even though I can see that the pricing model has faults, because it can make my struggle to be happy a little easier.

No I'm not. Don't make it seem that way. What I meant when I asked was that you said GM:S was bad and Parakeet would solve the problems but you never mentioned the problems you have with GM:S other than it's a "fucking nightmare"

"How will Parakeet help that?"

That is asking.

"How in the holy fuck is Parakeet meant to fix that shit?"

This is saying that you cannot possibly think of a way that it can do that. That is not the same as asking, it's more of a statement. Let's turn to another example:

"I can get this new keyboard for $60, and I would use it a lot and could drastically improve my life, since my old keyboard is a fucking nightmare when you have OCD and any pothole in the road can feel like a cliff."

"How in the holy fuck is that new keyboard meant to fix that shit?"

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you didn't mean it and that you just feel a need to make everybody believe that Parakeet is a piece of shit due to the pricing model, but that IS what what you wrote says.

As you can see, I obviously have a bit of an issue in the "arguing with people online for way too fucking long, dear god what am I doing with my life? Arguing semantics over something that didn't really offend me, but that I DO stand by my interpretation and criticism of, because I think some dude is being an absolute asshole? Fucking make a game, Ryan, do something with your life for once!" area, so I'll let you have the last word if you want. ;)
