YEP, adoption and how it functions, or doesn't function for adoptees, is one of the most misunderstood subjects in the world. But the billion $ adoption industry has money for "crisis pregnancy" centers, billboards, bumper stickers. check out "Pro-life marketing" on Google goes into page 2-3 and on w/ companies assisting adoption agencies and lawyers in "reaching" women considering abortion. Adoption is supposed to be about providing for children in need of good homes, and instead it has operated as a marketplace for decades for prospective parents and family building. Adoptive families have the same issues of divorce, abuse, neglect, addiction, alcoholism, and financial issues. Adoptees are treated like merchandise complete with being disposable "rehomed" chattel.
