Lego will only include one helmet for each clone, and almost everyone will have only one helmet per clone. So what you would end up getting is a severe lack of customizablity, where some of the prints you have for helmets can’t accept rangefinders or visors and some of them need a rangefinder or visor to not have the gaping hole. Restricting customization like this is antithetical to the concept of Lego if you ask me; I should be able to swap around all the parts from the recent battlepack, including the various helmet accessories.

And no, asking that Lego simply include both versions of every helmet is not reasonable. Hardly anyone would use the alternate helmets and it would be a waste of parts budget.
