LOL the first 30 minutes were the hardest then I thought, 'well I'm going to go make dinner then we'll see'. An hour later it's still in stock so then I started thinking, 'well maybe this is a sign of a rebalancing supply/demand situation'. They are selling though; when I first saw the deal they had a delivery date of Feb 13-14th and now it's up to the 24th.

My hesitation is mostly that I'd like to leave the door open to upgrading to a 4k monitor later this year without needing a new video card, but the 6800 xt isn't a true 4k card and if I stick with 1440p I feel like I'd be better off saving a good chunk of money by going with a 6700xt. The problem, of course, is that judging by the 7000 series so far there doesn't appear to be any certainty that the 7700/7800 will be great 4k cards either. So I might be waiting for nothing. Such a conundrum.
