A slightly more compact Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor build

So obviously the cockpit and wing flap pieces lego made for this ship are just way to big to really be minifig scale accurate and that's fine, for size and detail accuracy there's a ton of fantastic mocs out there lol

Personally I just wanted a pretty solid model that was as small as I could get it , and this is the result. It's 2 studs shorter and narrower than the current lego version, plus thinner and a bit sleeker without losing toooo much stability. Other than those siding 1x6's and the 2x2 wedges on the front everything on here is pretty sturdy. you do have to slide those side tiles out of the way to fold the S foils in and out of attack position, which remains frustrating but I just didn't find a solution I liked more

It's also a couple clips to hold a lightsaber hilt and blade in the cockpit, and fold up landing gear copied directly from thomas jenkins' eta-2 design on bricklink (one of those awesome super detailed display designs)
