I missed your reply and I'm so sad I did because it would have brightened what was an otherwise mediocre two days by the sheer scope of its absurdity.

That fact you used Joffrey from GOT literally proves my entire point. As you say- Joffrey was a brilliantly written villain and Jack Gleeson was STILL harassed by stupid fans, proving that the quality of the writing has absolutely nothing to do with a rabid fandom's response.

You then miss the implications of your own (correct) point and go further down the rabbit hole of ass hattery by claiming that if the writing and directing had been decent, Tran wouldn't have been harassed as much.

Your quibble about root vs only cause continues down this path of foolishness because, semantics aside, a root cause is still a cause and as you've just pointed out, the quality of writing is not a cause as at since great writing can have literally the same effect.

Now because you seem to be around the 8th grade (literally or at least at that reading level), I'll assume you are legitimately unaware of the faulty logic on your part and are not just being a troll (fun fact: troll is the word people use instead of troglodyte when they aren't trying to seem smarter than they are).
