People with a past, do you feel guilty that you got out? What are you doing to make the rest of your life better?

My opinion? No. People without a past don't exist because life is always messy. Privileged upbringing with an eating disorder or messy childhood with a stable life, I guess everyone has been through something and who are we to compare the two?

I guess my question is about those are who have come out on the the other end. I think that's a feeling that can only really be felt by those of us that have really come through the worst of it, right? You know if this question is about you.

I guess you're right that I don't feel guilty about finding stability; I feel guilty about those that don't know that's what they should be looking for.

How are we different from those that fall into the trap?
