Krank, I empathize with you because the guide isn't complete and could be better however I have irl stuff to look after also and can't just magically write everything so nobody will have issues.

I know there are some inconsistencies and I'll try to fix it when I have time, in the meantime though you could at least try and literally google it. I linked plexdrive several times on that page and it's fully explained there how it works. There's only so far I can go before I'm blatantly ripping off other peoples work and I refuse to just blindly copy and paste how a tool works. It's redundant anyway as most people who are doing this are aware of the tools they're using or at the least, read up on what it is and how it works before trying it.

I'm not trying to be an ass here but at some point you must look out for yourself instead of reaching out here everytime you run into an issue. I'm not your tech support, I want to help but I'm not going to help if you're also not going to help yourself.

As for the last of your post, I'm pretty certain it was already answered by another user in this thread. The plexdrive issue is the second result on google and was answered almost a month ago. Lastly, cache building is one of plexdrives main features to cut down on API calls, you can build it while mounting plexdrive or you can use the alternative script to turn a 10 hour job into a 60 second job.

There are 10 or so people that had issues with the guide in the past and I helped them through it via PM, oftentimes taking days. I was fine with that because at least when I was asleep or working, they'd work on it themselves and try.

If I find time to fix it up tonight I'll let you know.
