Hear me out, I'm just as big a Blues fan as the next guy on this sub reddit, and a wins a win, but holy hell we got some pretty lucky no calls. It has definitely been a super physical series so far, and game 5 exemplified that.
It just shows that even though most of the stats go the way of the Bruins, the Blues showed the most tenacity, resiliency, and heart. Our boys proved they were the most efficient team on the ice tonight. And holy fuck did that mother fucking brick wall goalie Binnington play lights out tonight, I just know we can't rely on him to win us game 6 back at home. Because the Bruins are out for blood at this point.
It's my dream to see the St Louis Blues play a hockey game in person, and I wish I could be there Sunday night to cheer the boys on in game 6. But fuck me if I could afford the plane ticket and game ticket to watch them.
But you bet your sweet asses I'll be screaming at my TV for the whole 60 minutes. I made a bet with my Blackhawks friend that he has to wear a Blues jersey if the Blues win and I have to wear a Blackhawks jersey if they don't win. So help me god, I don't want to wear a motherfucking hawks jersey.
