Phil Jackson explains what the Knicks are looking for at the NBA Draft.

/u/tetsuoandkaneda here's the response to your comment

but the only mention of the media Phil made is that what other GM or Pres. is the media calling for and demanding answers from?

This is sidestepping the point though. Criticisms of NY Media are perfectly valid. It's a constant though. That is not going to change. You can make whatever criticism you want, but ultimately that's pissing in the wind.

Where is the consistent outcry for Dolan to take more responsibility

All the time? There was a petition this season to try to get him to sell after the Oakley debacle and players came out against Oakley's mistreatment. Dolan was criticized again for picking up Phil's option after Phil hadn't done the best job. If you're wondering why there's less criticism of Dolan, it's because he's doing less than before Phil got here. Not to mention, Phil's function, in a large part, is to shield Dolan from public criticism.

And yet, not a peep from the fans and media

Yeah no. Literally search Dolan in this subreddit for the past year.

Where is the Melo press conference of him holding himself accountable for his piss poor defensive season and refusal to buy into a team-oriented offense?

You mean when Melo went to the media and he accepts that team-losses fall on his shoulders? Or when Melo, despite all the other players coming out against it, never criticized the triangle?

Why aren't the fans calling for Melo to take more responsibility as the team's best player and leader?

Do you comment in this subreddit.

I also stopped reading your comment after this because it's a classic gish gallop.

As I said, look back at what went wrong this season. Listen to Phil's comments. Is there any evidence that things will be better next season.
