To all the mothers who put up with our shit. Happy Mothers Day!

Alright. I understand that is good, and I didn't mean to be disrespectful about it. I'm just trying to address something more broad. Someday soon you're gonna go on Instagram, and you're gonna see your friends from high school joining the military and living in their own homes in Hawaii and south Korea, with kids and dogs. The others put up stupid pictures of themselves in suits, and the Mercedes steering wheel/watch photo nonsense, and it makes you feel like shit. Trust me it sucks so badly. I just don't want to see adulthood run over somebody that I'd probably chill with. 2k/ a month is cool af if you live at home, a lot of people I know wish they did that well living at home. But if you get an apartment (don't get me started on how shitty renting is) and are still paying car insurance (maybe idk if you drive), cell phone, groceries, utilities, a quarter of bud, 2k is going to be difficult. My friend went to college online and got a degree in some kind of computer science or some shit. He got a job installing water and sewer mains because he loved the freedom of moving out. The same kid I smoked blunts with now works up to 12 hours in a hole because coming home from that gives you a feeling you can't get from smoking. I'm telling you dude, it's rough out here and any advantage you have is going to help so much. Do you have access to a community college? you can get an associates for like 6k. My friends and I all have good relationships with our parents, but sometimes you realize you need to get out. And it's so dope to smoke a blunt on the couch in a robe without getting nagged. You need to want the freedom yourself. I don't expect you to want to go to college, it's just cool when people want the absolute best for themselves that they can get. Good luck dude. I really hope things work out with your mom, and going back to school.
