As a Phillies fan I get a lot of smoke for saying this. They are a good team, a lot of talent, with a manager that makes very bad decisions. The team was so hot last year they made up for his bad decisions. This year they are losing because they are not hot and they have a few injuries, so the awful pitching and lineup decisions are glaringly obvious. I am upset they are losing but my "I told you so" tour is starting way earlier than I thought it would. I literally told everyone after Thompson extension that by next August I would go on an "I told you so" tour and the fans would be calling for his head. My social media thread shows me that we are two weeks into the season and already everyone is complaining that he wants to make every single game a bullpen game. He cannot help himself. He makes his decisions before the game. So and so is going in and pitching the 5th. No matter what the game looks like. I watched him repeatedly pull Dominguez after one inning throwing 12 pitches with 9 strikes during the playoffs to put in Robertson to throw grapefruits and get torched. But, Bryce would bail him out with a big hit and everyone would forget he was giving away wins but a future HOF was so stinking hot he would bail him out.
Ugh. well like i said, Philly fans will want to tar and feather him by August.
