Physicalism is not obviously true

There are many components to experience and perception outside of sensory phenomena. For example, an emotion. While emotions typically are experienced in the body, there is a dimension to it which is intentionally motivated. Intention is a phenomena that can be described as a non-sensory aspect of the mind. Observe also the fluctuating nature of an emotion moment to moment, and the subtle inconstancy of every moment into the next across every dimension. The ability and process of introspection, the ability and process of the movement of one's attention are non-sensory aspects of a mind. Which sense is it that is noticing one's own thoughts? It is intramental, because where, but within the boundaries of a mind, can this process occur?

Sensory phenomena are only observable in the moment of their appearance. That process of tracking senses across time, that process of making projections into the future based on the senses are both non-sensory aspects of the mind.

There is also the question of the functionality of our senses. If we posit that the senses reveal a limited amount of information, then we also posit our profound lack of awareness across the potential of information that could be sensed hypothetically. The physicalist will also find themselves in the position of contemplating what actually is that the senses are a representative of. The 'position of the soul' as one of profound ignore-ance of all other possible states of the senses, which is outside a sensory state, is perceivable outside of sensory phenomena. This is the position of any mind, and any state of awareness, with or without directly sensing, contemplating or considering it.
