Which it is not, it's actually the healthiest way and most cost effective way to use Cannabis. He says the way you smoke looks bad, I will say some people will think weirdly of what your doing with a torch but its not meth like.
The process of taking a dab: You heat a Titanium nail up or you could use a Quartz nail or even a ceramic nail. Then let it cool and you dab your oil onto it. So it then vaporizes the oil. It's the same thing as you would do with a vaporizing weed. You don't burn or combust the weed you only burn off the resin heads from the flower, which is the only things you want. Here is an example of what oil looks like on a Titanium nail. Here is an example of oil on a Quartz nail. I don't own a ceramic nail to show an example of but you get the point.
Kyle was right about the way you can extract it. He said by using butane to extract the good things from it. But you can really use any hydrocarbon to extract the Trichome heads off the plant. Most are using a butane and propane, co2, and some others. But you can also use just water or even adding some heat to the flower and squishing the resin out of the plant to make rosin.
Now on to the looks of the oil they way they describe it as 'tar' or 'earwax'. May have been true back in 2010 or prior but it sure isn't like that today. You can get oil that is in a wax form like this or this. You can also get oil that is called Shatter that looks like this or this. You can also get Bubble hash that looks like this. Then there is rosin which looks like shatter but it isn't. This is rosin.
Okay now on Josh or StrainCentral doing the 1 Gram dab he doesn't do that all the time or anything usually for special occasions. Also it wasn't $100 worth of oil, more like $40 if that. Then they talked about him taking the 2080mg edible. Which he did and if you watch the video it doesn't really effect him. Same with me edibles don't really effect me whats so ever.
You could say I have a really high tolerance. I probably dab almost a gram of oil a day. Which to most that would seem like a lot which it is I guess lol. But I would rather dab that much then smoke through a lot of flower like I was before I switched to dabbing only. Before anyone calls me out for just being a stoner and I am worthless or something. I work in Logistics for a pretty big company who has products that go all around the world. I work 50+ hours a week and I really enjoy my job. I also really enjoy Cannabis in all aspects which I like to enjoy when I am not at work. Just like the people who enjoy their beer or alcohol outside of work. Besides my work, Cannabis, I am also into fashion and that's my life.
I also didn't really like when they dogged on Josh cause he is fan of the show.
Edibles though are not how they described. They are not gross tasting. They taste pretty damn good, here CG420 shows a bunch of edibles and if you say they look gross I don't know whats wrong with you.
Now I don't want to get into them talking about acid, LCD or any of the other hallucinogenics. That is a whole other subject.
