Please be honest

Hello there,

Realistically speaking, it will be hard with a 3.3 GPA. However, a lot of ADN programs offer lottery based selections! Make sure your TEAS score is good! Also, some privates look at applications holistically, which means they take into account your essays and recommendation letter. I know someone who applied to a competitive private program and got in with a 3.2-3.3 GPA. Their essay was great. These are a few options to look into.

You can also look into for-profit schools. Their requirements are not high. Many usually make it in since the schools just require the students to pay for the program. But, as long as you're getting a degree at the end of the day, I don't see a problem with it. It'll just be more costly.

Public BSN programs wise... it may be extremely hard. Most public programs (w/ high NCLEX pass rates) have a minimum GPA of 3.5 for people to apply. Usually, people with 3.8+ GPAs get accepted. The lowest I have heard of getting in was a 3.6 GPA.

Regardless, there are other options though! Good luck to you.
