I've never got the impression that they cut anything. Ever.

I'd encourage you to listen with a discerning ear for jumps in tone or tempo from whoever is speaking. They edit a lot from the episodes. There are so many cuts that it sometimes bothers me. It's truly a lot of edits. Monica also edits her own dialogue from much of the episodes if she feels it conflicts with the story the guest is sharing or the vibe as a listener. I've wondered if she maybe over-edits herself out but considering some people seem to dislike her so much, maybe it works out better for the show that she does it this way. Anyway, they definitely cut a lot. Always.
