Law 66. 66. The Laws and Proposals of the Subreddit must adhere to a format described below:

1) Law

a) Section

i) Clause If there are any existing laws that contradict this new format, the Justices will review and rewrite them.

a) The Justices CANNOT modify the actual meaning of the law in any way- just modify it to suit the format. The modifications are subject to veto as described in § D-2.

i) If a Proposal fails to meet the formatting standard, the Justices will notify the Proposer and ask them to adhere to it. b) When referring to a Law, the following format would be used:

L. 1, § A-1

In this case, it would be Law 1, Section A, Clause 1.

c) Proposals will be written in the same format, but with the Law number being replaced with the Proposal number, which is adherent to the amount of Proposals on the subreddit, i.e. if there have been 50 Proposals sumitted, the next proposal will be numbered Proposal 51.

i) Proposals can be referred to in text as P. 1, § A-1. In this case, this would be Proposal 1, Section A, Clause 1. d) Amendment Proposals must show the parts of the law(s) that have been changed in bold text.

i) A Proposal/Law that amended another law will be put next to the newly amended law in [square brackets], using the format [(change that occurred) by (amending law)]. This does not apply to repealing.

ii) Justices may remove crossed out text if they feel it isn't relevant or is cluttering up the law too much, but their decision may be vetoed by either the Top Moderator, Chief Justice or a Proposal. e) Spelling or grammar mistakes may also be changed by the Justices, but this can be vetoed as described in § D-2.

f) If a Section goes over the twenty-six letters in the alphabet, a number will be added before the letter, for example, § 1F-3. If it goes over again, the number is increased by one, and so on.
