Pretty much. The main thing is it would have to be a sacrifice, like Lily sacrificed herself for Harry. If Harry knew he'd come back it wouldn't have as much impact. So he has to walk to his own death, for the same spell to be cast on himself and his friends. He got saved because of the fact that his blood is present in Voldemort's body and part of Lily's protection lives on. So Voldemort killing him would never work while he is alive. So when Voldemort killed Harry he ended up killing the Horcrux, the part that was not Harry's actual self. Harry assumes that then the only things left to kill would be Nagini and then a simple spell would kill Voldemort because his last peice of remaining soul is so fragile.
