This is worse. Back then the doxxes weren't as widespread, and while some of it unfortunately got traction, anyone reasonable could recognize that it was horrific, and wouldn't interact with it. This time, it's spread enough that his replies are full of people talking about it, probably because of all the misinformed, hateful 50k+ liked tweets that are just 'haha it's so funny that he said doxxing is fine and then all his information was revealed'

It's become a karmic joke to twitter users, and twitter as a platform absolutely loves to make fun people under the guise of it being 'deserved'
