A question for those with deeper lore, preferably writers.

1) In the northern regions, nudity (or at least exposed skin) is less sexualized and sex overall is more conservative - why, they even consider monogamy to be normal! Father south, promiscuoity becomes more of a thing and harems become increasingly common the farther down you go. Indeed, in the southern desert, monogamy is either viewed as a sign of poverty (inability to support more spouses) or, if it's by choice, of deviancy.

2) Aside from mentioning harems, I'm going to try to avoid having "on-screen" sexual content. That said, I'm probably going to mention how Slafter, God of Blood (and therefore bloodlines), loathes the concept of rape and, if someone is so foolish as to invoke his name when performing (or at least attempting) the act, they will flay apart on the spot.

3) Read above. That said, on a miscellaneous note, there is a particular detail to my setting that I've been leaving the cutting room floor because of how squicky people will probably find it. So... um... the idea was that wet dreams were caused by certain gods literally banging pubescent youths in their dreams. Too gross to include at all?

4) It depends on how it is used. Gratuitous porking doesn't necessarily fit, but certain scenarios utilize it effectively. I'll leave it for others to judge, but I think I've used it effectively with one character's storyline. Brandar, a Vharmen, is enslaved on "special order" by an Akylian noblewoman for her harem; however, given that the encounter can be summed up as "Joseph and Potiphar's Wife", she sells him to a gladiator arena in the southern deserts as punishment for spurning her.
