Questions About The Answers I Was Given When I Asked A Bankruptcy Attorney. Doesn't Seem Correct?

You make too much to file chapter 7 like I did. I filed chapter 13. I pay a monthly payment that is lower than any loan I could have gotten, but I couldn’t even get a loan and I doubt you would either.

Chapter 13 is a wage earners plan. I’m guessing due to your income you would be on the 5 year like me.

It’s the best decision I made, honestly. It’s scary at first, but in 5 years, I’ll be in a way better place! Taking action even if it seems embarrassing is better than doing literally nothing and letting it get worse.

If you do lose your job during chapter 13, u can convert to 7. Just my experience in Minnesota, I know it varies state to state. So don’t quote me!

Honestly, I would find a different lawyer. The one I had did 7 and 13.
