But it’s good to know that it shouldn’t be too hard regarding visa applications ect. Everything is legitimate and obviously can prove our relationship, and prove that we are not a sham marriage and would be happy to do interviews ect if needed.

Since I don’t know anyone who’s a non citizen who’s gone down this route I had no idea what the procedure would be. Thank you for this.

When we are married I will speak to the immigration office anyway to get the correct details. I can imagine this has happened before as we have two large US based in the U.K. so it isn’t going to be an overly unique situation.
