Saw something similar happen at the warehouse I was temporarily at and your situation sounds very similar to it.

Sorry to say, but because you didn't report it right away, chances are they're going to screw you big time should you need any kind of professional medical care. They're gonna conduct their investigation, and if you need care and you're lucky, they'll approve paying for your care.

But, be prepared to fight for your care every week. I've seen where they approved a treatment, then after a week, cancelled it. This forces you to constantly go back to them and argue your case for continued care.

I hope that doesn't happen to you and I hope telling you this doesn't stress you out too much, but I feel you should be prepared for that possibility rather than be blindsided should that event occur.
