Um.
Hi everyone, here as a regular of /r/FiveNightsAtFreddys to clear up some stuff.
First up, wow, we're up here again. Last was maybey a mounth ago. Go team! I think we broke our record!
Yeah we have alot of drama over at FiveNights. A new mod every day, people sending death threats because their favourite fan game developercanceled some/someone gave feedback to their favourite artist/undertale, because reasons. We are a toxic community, and I am allowed to say that as a longtime lurker and user, but if anyone else says that to the FNaF sub, you'll be downvoted to hell. Understand that most of us are below 18, including the mods.
Now, about the drama in question. It's nearly over, but here's the run down.
ToyChica (the user) was an old mod. They quit a while ago, shortly (correct me if I'm wrong) after receiving a bunch of death threats shortly after undergoing surgery. That was a while ago. Now recently, a huge amount of the mods had quit. They all had their reasons, and another user came back to be a mod, a previous one. Now the drama begins.
ToyChica, the ex-mod, posted "in honour of mod week" about some of the previous experiences she had had as a mod. Mainly regarding a longtime mod, BaseTown. Well, the entire post was an attack on him really. It detailed some of the things he had done that had affected her negatively. And several other mods as well. I'll put it like that to stop some of the ensuring drama. Read the post if you want to know details. The sub, having nothing better to do, started which hunting BaseTown. BaseTown, waking up to a inbox of hate, totally unexpected really as he was doing nothing much at the time, put of replying for a bit, the other mods and community members calming everyone down. BaseTown eventually responded, saying he would change, but he also said that ToyChica was being a bit counter-productive by stirring everyone up.
Now personally, I think this could been handled a bit better, but it's over, for the most part.
And because I should put it somewhere: I am not a mod at FiveNights, nor am being dispatched by one. I have no personal connections to the people involved in the drama, I just fet I should help those who have no clue what the subs doing.
