Rachel's off the pedestal for me

I actually had to skip the first half of Dean's HTD because I just could not see myself watching it. Felt like he was being exploited by the producers. I ended up watching the entire thing today though. while I do think Rachel could have refrained from telling Dean that she was falling in love with him especially when he was so vulnerable and other things I don't think she had any ill intentions. I think with the Dean situation she was a bit naive in asking "well have you tried" but on the flipside she was at least making an effort to try to understand just how complex and strained Dean's relationship is with his dad.

Honestly I don't know how other past leads would have handled this situation. Could she have been a more sensitive or aware absolutely like someone said in the moment there was no take one, cut, repeat going on.

Now the producers is who i really blame! So much gets left out! ie her meeting Dean's best friends which never aired so i wonder if there were other moments that were perhaps cut off?

I dont necessarily have Rachel on a pedestal. Do i love her absolutely but I realize that this is a reality show where everything is sliced and diced. Is she is a flawed being yes? Could that HTD been shown differently absolutely.
