That skepticism is entirely warranted, especially when it comes to products from Chinese companies. While tons of fantastic products come out of China, including almost everything I own, so do tons of horrible products. It's often difficult or impossible to tell if the product you're buying is on the good side or the bad side.

If you think people's skepticism of Chinese products is gross, you have nobody to blame except the Chinese companies that have produced billions of junk products over the decades. People aren't saying "everything Chinese is bad." They're saying "enough Chinese products are bad that the level of risk is high."

Here, for example, we're talking about insanely cheap RAM from a company nobody here is familiar with. Do you really think people's skepticism is out of line?
