You’re not alone

I don’t know. I’m a true independent voter who voted for Obama in 2012 and Trump in 2016. This rubs me the wrong way. I own 2 small businesses and I pay a lot in taxes and he only paid $750. In fact I had the use the EIDL loan just to pay my quarterly taxes due to the shutdown. If he was only using the rules that were made in order to reduce his tax exposure which I would understand then why didn’t he change these unfair rules when he overhauled the tax laws in 2017? This whole thing just doesn’t sit right with me. Also, Its insane that a sitting president can personally owe $421 MILLION. Thats not a business debt but a personal debt which is big difference. That's such a huge conflict of interest when we're expecting him to act in the nation's best interest when he owes that much.
