Reaction to 3.5 magnitude aftershock in Croatian Parliament today

Most of it isn't covered by insurance because building and house insurance just isn't a thing in Croatia.

Mostly newer buildings and construction are covered but as predominantly older structures were those that were damaged...insurance companies are businesses, they won't underwrite an older building or the insurance of the said older building because either the tenants can't afford the insanely high premium or the building is so old that the company doesn't want to assume the liability (as if something happens they will be forced to pay out)

And yes, we need solidarity, that's why I said we mostly got platitudes and empty promises from the EU. I am pro-EU but I am also well aware how it "well" it works, especially when there's a crisis. And that is why I mentioned the Italian and Greek example
