Recently finished season 6 of Sons of Anarchy. And then watched the final scene without watching season 7. I feel like this was definitely the best way to watch it.

I'm a most fervent fan of SOA.

BUT---WTF? Season six concluded with Tara's murder and a tormented Jackson. He'd already agreed to acceptable terms for the D/A. He copped to EVERYTHING, merely asking for a few hours freedom before turning himself in [personally accepting the massive burden of crimes that would NEVER be dismissed].

Season 7? He's in prison. Then he's released, b/c there's no evidence.

Somehow, the typical and EXPECTED investigation into the murder of Tara and a Chief [sheriffs and cops would have come from out of the wood-work and NOT stopped until they had ANSWERS] was diminished and dismissed as a mystery.

Even with Gemma's attitude, she'd have been drilled and pounded like coal into diamond.

The most basic investigation? "Um....she distracted me and took my truck." WHY was Gemma there? when? When did she take the truck?

I was able to put reality behind in order to enjoy the last season. It was one explosive episode after the next, only that high-speed [jazz music? seriously? WTF] chase where a cop car actually flipped eliminated any possibility that Jackson's only concern was an assault charged, filed by Unser. Yet they manage to capture Unser where Jackson demands he retract his accusation so he can handle business.

This was a little too much to overlook. Jackson should have, after eluding the police, handled the rest of his business!

Still, I'll watch the series over and over and enjoy, each time.

Gemma, Clay and Otto were born to play these characters. Damn, Otto!!! The man's a genius!

p.s. the twins that played Abel were POORLY cast. That was another painful leap to accept. "Abel, do you know what an 'accident' is?" Abel, "Do you?" OMG. Must've been related to someone financing the series!!!
