Recently listened to mellon collie

I can see why you may not like it if you are of the Spotify generation. Most things these days are a popularity contest, so we only see the cream of the crop, not many listen to albums in one go anymore. Billy actually predicted this, that the $30 dollar album was dead and we were heading towards singles and LPs re the sixties. Hence teargarden. But Mellon Collie is from that time when cds were growing, and you could fit more data on them than any other format before. It is a true masterpiece, and a true album, and individually some tracks aren't that strong, yes, but they way the flow together and bring the highs and lows of emotion throughout the album. The way that the discs were called dawn to dusk and twilight to starlight, and the way the artwork on the discs reflected that , and how the tracks on each disc also reflected that as well. All sp albums take a few listens to get into. I thought adore was rubbish for

Think you replied to the wrong person/comment. Age-wise, taste-wise and Adore-experience-wise, I seem to be in the same boat as yourself. VB
