Trump promises to ban transgender women from sports if re-elected

"African amaricans have a genetic advantage in terms of stamina. Lets segregate them from white people so to keep things fair."

So, using your reasoning, we should allow men to participate in any of the women's sports. We should also allow women to participate in any of the men's sports to avoid discrimination. After all, genetic advantages shouldn't matter. But imagine how it would be to see a woman get tackled by a man in the NFL.

Why don't we also segregate anyone who has trained more than their competitors and have more experience? Tom Brady clearly has more experience and training than several of his competitors, why don't we segregate those like Tom Brady who have had more experience in professional football, or even ban those who have won numerous Super Bowls from competing against those who have not? Or why don't we ban tall men from basketball since their height gives them an advantage over their competitors? Of course, those questions are rhetorical.

What I'm saying is that there is a line that has to be drawn between what constitutes as unfair and what doesn't. There is a great difference between unfair advantages and fair advantages. It's the reason why nations come together at the Olympics and declare winners even if the winner had numerous advantages. Look at Michael Phelps for example, he won numerous medals although he had the advantage of experience.

So here's my main point - It is unfair to allow someone to win although they cheated. One way to cheat is by becoming a woman when you are biologically a man because then you are competing against women while having most of the advantages of a man, such as large muscles that can easily lift more weights than most women. You see the loophole that some transgender women are exploiting? It's a bad loophole too because it discourages women from participating in sports.

Also, you are greatly misunderstanding the effects of hormone therapy.

Unless hormone therapy permanently prevents one from gaining stronger muscles than a woman could have, I'm certain that it won't prevent that person from having a massive advantage over women.
