Yes. And some of us grew up in the North, some in the South, some in the heartland, some in the west. Some of our families made a name for themselves, some did not. Some of us are women, some men, some in between. Some of us are gay, some straight.

The exact same is true of white people in general. There is much more differentiation amongst Latin American and/or Hispanic groups.

Never said that, as you well know. What I did say is that there is no representation of Mexican Americans, a group nearly as large as African Americans, no representation of any Asian community, and no representation of the groups that owned this land in the first place.
