Recipe screw ups?

Not a whole lot comes to mind.

The thing that probably pissed me off the most in the kitchen though, was making a pizza.

Made the dough myself, let it rest in the fridge for... was at least 24, maybe 48 hours. Made a perfectly round and thin crust by hand, got it on my peel. Homemade sauce, good mozz which I'd put in the freezer before grating. Basil I'd grown. Fresh grated garlic, maybe a little bit of Italian sausage. Oven had been preheating for a good hour or so.

It looked perfect.

Went to slide it onto my baking steel in the oven... and the fucking thing was stuck to the peel. Real stuck. Did not want to budge.

"Son of a bitch!!!"

Then it's this mangled fucked up looking torn thing and just... threw the whole thing in the trash.

I don't remember if I had extra dough to slap together a second one or just ordered Chinese out of failure. Either way, parchment paper always now.
