Regarding the twins

After reviewing some of the comments that the twins have made, this has to be one of the biggest overreactions I have ever seen from this subreddit.

It sounds like you haven't seen as much as a lot of feed viewers. This isn't a recent thing.

These are 23 year old twin sisters.

Most people consider that old enough to be held responsible for comments you make.

Other houseguests this season have said worse things but received minimal criticism. For example, Jason called Liz a "cunt" and made fun of her weight.

So calling James a midget, little man, and Napoleon Complex behind his back isn't offensive? Calling Vanessa ugly without makeup isn't offensive? Calling Johnny Mac a scrawny awkward bitch or Steve a little pipsqueak nerd is harmless?

Compared to past seasons, these comments made by the twins are harmless.

A lot of people don't excuse nastiness because it's happened worse before, most people strive to set a higher standard rather than letting the past lower the bar.

Genuine or not, the twins have apologized and acknowledged that the shit talking needs to stop.

Whether it's genuine or not is a pretty big factor for a lot of people and they've said they can't be mean so they aren't viewed poorly on TV not because being mean is wrong.

It was basically an intentionally misleading post made for people to shit on the twins.

Maybe so, but your framing of the issue is also "intentionally misleading" by leaving out the fact that Liz did that to Meg's stuff out of spite rather than strategy, flipping off Meg behind the wall, and later found out it was Austin that had messed with her stuff not Meg.

Every post I go to has someone calling the twins "disgusting human beings". Yes, they are catty and immature, but come on. They're not the scum of the earth, not even close. Keep it in perspective.

I find their behavior disgusting. If I had a 23 year old daughter who acted like they've acted I would be embarrassed.
