Remember “I make $300K a year as a copywriter”? I did what the post said and just signed my first $10K project. Zero prior copywriting experience. One month from planning to signing. Documented entire journey on YouTube.

Only a full-on retard takes months to write a sales letter. At that point I'd question what the hell that person is doing after 2 weeks with no copy. Learning English?

$10k is also not newbie money for a copywriting project, man. Convincing a company to hand over $7,500 for 800 - 1,200 words is no easy task. There's a definite argument to be made that anyone with proper command of the English language and general understanding of how the consumer brain works in the sales process could quite easily pull of a great first version and then continue iteration until it was solid.

All for about $1,500, maybe far less. There are far more capable writers with sales experience in this world than is given credit, they just don't know there's a market for their skills in this area.

Sure, $7,500/mo is nothing for a top marketer, but this is one sales piece. So, even if it's not top dollar in terms of agency pricing, it's a huge commitment on the end of the company and they're taking on substantial risk.
