Rep. Fudge Endorses Pelosi

The Midwest is stable Democrat territory. It's pretty obvious historically, I can't tell if establisent DNC has their heads up the data people's asses or they're hardcore. Maybe a mix? You can run 'hale merry's' via gerrymandering in the midwest all you want but in the American spirit it probably won't last. Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are easy wins for Democrats.

Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Florida and North Carolina are more easily fallen victim to persuasion, propaganda and inertia. They have historic intuitions given our history. If we have to go another four years under Trump in order for them to see the light, I'll take it. But I wouldn't recommend it. Given today's standards they are more volatile to shift hard left than the Midwest is to shift hard right. And in that notion Trump may be an advantage.

The easiest path to winning in 2020 is to run a northern progressive. Biden might be too boring and out of touch in the moment. Take say, a critical debate question or a statement speech on the stump. He plays it too safe. He'll get bullied and won't identify with critical voting pockets.

If the primary is going to be rigged again, I recommend hard consideration. We could gain a Democratic president in 2020 and coast to a blue Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Florida and North Carolina. Or you could screw it up again and display to those states that Republican economics does not work. It's up to the establishment DNC really. I think a lot of them are clueless and a few of them are hardcore.

One thing I'll agree with is we need a point in time where the GOP has no way of winning on their current platform. It's hard with a country this big and it's going to take more time than 2020 to assure the upcoming states are blue.
