Daily Roundtable for March 19, 2020

Anyone endorsing Bernie at this point is either in total denial about the state of the primary or is disinterested in Trump losing reelection.

A few Bernie supporters have offed themselves this week. So I think it's the latter. I think at a certain point, there is an outright depression within Bernie's base. It's not denial, people just don't care anymore.

I think something a lot of people have failed to realize that a lot of us are miserable as hell. At a certain point, Bernie presented hope, he presented someone caring and wanting to help us get out of the hole we are in.

I was off this sub for a week, albeit not voluntarily. At that time, I became almost completely disengaged from politics. I've shifted from angry to suicidal. I genuinely don't give a fuck what happens in November. I genuinely don't care about anything that's gonna happen at all and I'd like to think I was engaged before the last few days. The times I talk about politics feels like a routine. So from my personal perspective, I think it's disinterest in Trump losing re-election.
