You can't take the statement of just a couple of people to make a collective judgement about all of the Ukrainian people. Those racists don't speak for all of us and frankly don't know better. Ukraine did not own slaves nor pass racist laws as far as I know, which is not something the rest of Europe/US can say. Most definitely Ukraine is less racist than here in the US, speaking as a Ukrainian in the US. It's just that POC are not as integrated with slavic culture, and you can see from footage that there aren't really any POC defending Ukraine from Russia right now and that adds to the local sentiment. Just saying. Ukrainians are a very peaceful people who are doing the best with what they've got.
