Revealed: The Red Bull updates that left Mercedes on the backfoot

Yeah.... No.

Mercedes focus is on 2022. They’ve been a bit screwed over by the floor changes this season while also continuing to use the same car as last year. Both of which has been to Red Bull’s benefit. So it’s not really a good representation of where each team is at.

I believe Red Bull will win this season but that doesn’t really mean anything for next season due to the number of changes.

Where a good car next season is important for the next five years.

It’s also easy for a team to look like it’s working seamlessly when it’s winning.

This is the first time in a while where no matter what Mercedes do, they can’t get a win as long as Max drives perfectly. And Mercedes being powerless is a pretty big change for them.
