It’s almost like you’re not reading what I’m saying. That 750-800hp figure has been touted around since the V8s came up. You’ll see the exact same thing for 2006. No one really knows how much they made afterwards, so they just stuck with that number. Doesn’t mean it’s what they actually made buddy.

For ERS, yes we’ve been talking about apex speed. To increase that, ERS is needed upon corner entry speed. It’s used to fill in power, that doesn’t happen when you’re either slowing down or already flat out. Just apply some critical thinking here. That also ignores the fact that many teams and punters have talked about it being used mainly out of corner exit to improve acceleration or down the straights when defending or for extra top speed.
