Royal Marines / Royal Navy Jetpack Training

You lack vision.

IFF mounted on the suit with small automatic shoulder mounted weapon to cover a landing. Or more ambitious still with an Apache style eye reticule targeted system.

It wouldn't need to be a large system, just enough to get you on the ground. Then set it up with a single button drop so you can draw your primary weapon seconds from hitting the ground.

Looking at how fast they move you only need cover for literally 10 seconds while you make your landing. If that. With some development it's without doubt no worse than helo or rib boarding. There is no way to approach a vessel "in cover", so it's all about speed to get it done asap.
