My problem is they are not writing him 'dark' as in Stefan, but more like a Zander or Diego. He's a dumb thug, hothead and shmuck now. Not the least bit methodical, cunning or sophisticated. Nothing like a Cassadine at all. Stefan would be the type to look down at a thug like that because he's a Cassadine, and he has staff for that sort of thing. He would think things through and not just act on impulse. Helena prided herself on being regel, calm, and together on the outside, dark on the inside. She wasn't an impulsive hothead like Sonny.

No offense to the actor playing Nik now, but he doesn't have the foreboding presence, or gravitas to play a Cassadine. He does come across like a punk kid, or a kid trying to play dress up. I don't believe him as anything intimating, but more of a loser.
